Privacy Policy

We collect only what is needed to run the service.

• Account information. Your email address and sign-in details, handled by our authentication provider. You may also add a display name and your preferred weight unit.
• Health data you log. Injections (compound, dose, route, site, timing), daily metrics (such as weight, sleep, mood, and energy), bloodwork values, reference ranges, and any notes you add.
• Lab files you upload. When you upload a lab report, its contents are used to read the values into your record. We do not keep the uploaded file after the values are extracted.
• Basic technical data. Standard server logs needed to operate and secure the service.
• Product usage. We record which screens of the app you use, to improve it. This stays with us, is never shared with anyone, and is deleted with your account.

We use your data only to provide VialScope: to store your record, show it back to you over time, and let you export it. We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not use it to build a profile of you for any purpose other than running the app for you.

Your data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure located in the United States. It is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is controlled at the database level by row-level security, which means each account can read and write only its own rows. We do not use administrative database keys inside the app, and we follow least-privilege access for the systems that run the service.

We rely on a small set of vendors to run VialScope. They process data only to provide their service to us, under their own security and privacy commitments.

• Authentication. Manages sign-in and your account credentials.
• Database and hosting. Stores your record and serves the application.
• AI transcription. When you upload a lab report, its contents are sent to our AI provider for the sole purpose of transcribing the printed values. The provider does not use this content to train its models. The transcription step reads the numbers as printed. It does not interpret, diagnose, or judge them.

Some of what you log is health data. You are in control of it.

• You choose what to log, and you can edit or delete any entry at any time.
• You can export your full record as CSV at any time from the Data screen inside the app.
• You can delete your account and the data associated with it. To request deletion, contact us at the address below.
• We do not sell your consumer health data, and we do not share it for advertising.
• You can withdraw your consent to our processing of your health data by deleting your account.

We keep your data while your account is active so the service can show you your history. When you delete your account, we delete your record. Backups are removed on their normal cycle.

VialScope records and displays your data. It does not interpret it, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Decisions about your health are for you and your clinician.

VialScope is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will provide a clearer notice.
